Phone App Usage Analytics

Supported iPhone and Android phone versions may collect a random app installation identifier that is not linked to an account, platform (iOS or Android), app version and selected language, visits and return visits, foreground screen time, report/calendar/ranking/sharing feature use and save results, notification permission/preferences and notification opens, selected tennis level, handedness, backhand and preferred style, registered racket/string product categories, gauge and tension, and string/grip replacement intervals. These analytics are collected only in the phone app, not on Apple Watch or Wear OS. App language does not indicate country or nationality. Existing settings are first captured when the supported version is opened and then when changed; past usage is not reconstructed.

These analytics exclude email addresses, account IDs, nicknames, racket nicknames, custom product names, notes, share captions, photos, videos, raw workout data, heart rate and workout identifiers. Custom products are recorded only as a custom category. AWS processes these analytics and administrators see aggregated results. They are not used for cross-company advertising tracking or individual ad targeting. A completed share sheet does not establish that content was published on another service.

App usage analytics is on by default. Turn it off in My to stop future collection/transmission and clear unsent analytics from the device. Turning it on again keeps the same installation identifier. Uploaded daily aggregates become eligible for automatic deletion after 120 days, and the latest preferences after 365 days without analytics traffic; automatic deletion may take additional time. Unsent events are limited to seven days and 500 events on the device. Reinstalling creates a new installation identifier. The analytics identifier and pending queue are excluded from cloud backups and account restoration, and are not used for gear backup.
